Positive: The friendly & extremely helpful reception staff on arrival. Our room was decorated for our special occasion on arrival. This surprise was greatly appreciated.

Negative: The lack of air conditioning with the extreme heat that has been happening in Europe at the moment made it less comfortable overnight.

Summary: Great location, traditional old building keeping in the quaint atmosphere of Chur.

Positive: Nice hotel and cute rooms. The receptionist was very kind and my parents felt comfortable practicing their german with her 😆 Shower pressure was amazing, bed was comfortable. They had some extra stuff i the room like cottons, makeup remover, nail file, extra blanket, slippers. Would stay again.

Negative: The place is very very hot and there’s no air conditioning. There’s a decent fan in the room but it can only do so much. I tried opening the window but it was a skylight/roof window so I had to close it because of the rain.

Positive: Limited options in the area af the time we stayed as travelling on the Bernina Express. Its a 10 minute simple walk from the station and is located 2 mins from the main restaurant area which is great with loads of options for dinner and breakfast. We had to change our room on arrival to help out someone where they had a booking error. However, the staff offered us an alternative without pressure, on the top floor and the accommodation was absolutely fine. Clean, spacious, with seating area and kitchen. The staff were very helpful. The room is basic but comfortable, especially for 1 night and the hotel has facilties avaliable including laundry. This is in a busy area and you can hear the noise from local bars until late on a Saturday when we stayed. However, we shut windows and heard nothing that bad, slept well. Very hot on the top floor but expected with the weather we had, fans in the room. In all, happy with room for the one night, cafe within 2 mins walk for brekkie.

Positive: Short walk from the beautiful city centre. Spacious room which was clean and comfortable.

Negative: I asked for ‘secure parking’ for two motorbikes. The allocated area was not secure - open car park with a ‘strip club / girlie bar’ approximately 20 meters from where the bikes were parked. Although we did not encounter any hassle at all - the bikes weren’t touched. The location was a little disconcerting.

Summary: Very comfortable and clean room located close to the city centre. Secure parking was not provided.

Positive: Staff super friendly! Was willing to help at a nice paste, concidering that i booked like 30.min prior. Has everything thats needed for a night!

Negative: There were some long hairs, in the bed, which i saw the day after, not that nice. A little too expensive in my opinion( was more like a emergency) just for 1 night.
